Anna is a big time muse of mine. Witnessing her is like witnessing the goddess. She exudes beauty and grace and wisdom. Her instagram handle is @oneofwater and I couldn't agree more. Anna lives her life following the whales from Hawaii to the Pacific NorthWest. Life water, she is fluid and lives her life from the ever present flow state.
Lately, I’ve been aware and thankful for wisdom that comes with time and experience; the kind that opens your heart beyond attachment to outcome and is rooted in knowing oneself in compassion. The kind that refines your energy slowly. It feels somatic to me, informs my creative process, my relationships and my understanding of ea1.What are you most grateful for right now?
[Laughs] I suppose that phrase is another way of me expressing my trust in life flow. I listen to my na’au2 guidance and trust that the choices I make from an intuitive space will provide me with the experiences, people and places that my soul is meant to connect with. One of my favorite quotes of yours is "the universe provides". Can you elaborate more on this?
Living on an island in the Pacific, one of my most intimate relationships is with the kai3. I make an effort to immerse myself in water often whether it’s an early morning surf or a quick dip in the tide pools at sunset, it all feels so cleansing and is an important ritual to me.What are some of your most favorite rituals / ways of being in this world?
Relaxed, natural and minimal. How would you describe your style? What inspires you?
I draw inspiration from raw natural materials, shape, texture, form and items made by hand. Family, culture and my creative community inspire me to maintain authenticity and purpose with my work. I love music that compels me to dance, shared meals, sun sparkles on moving water. Love.
